This Global Call to Action highlights the needs identified in the Joint Action Plan for Women’s & Children’s Health, initiated by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The Call is coordinated by the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health, a coalition of more than 300 organizations working in common to ensure that all women and children survive and thrive.
